All insurance companies not incorporated under the laws of Illinois, and that sell fire insurance for property in Illinois are required to pay a fee to the Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Board (FFITB). This Board is responsible for using these funds to purchase items for the maintenance, use and benefit of the Fire District.

Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Board meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month. Agendas for all meeting are posted on this website and on the front door of Station 1 at 103 Beaver Street no less than 48 hours in advance.
