We need everyone’s help to save people who go into Cardiac arrest.

WHY LEARN CPR? after 1 minute, brain cells without oxygen begin to die. The ability of bystanders to perform CPR while waiting for the ambulance is critical to survival and positive patient outcomes.

We have teamed up with Illinois Safety, to offer CPR training to our community, all classes are taught by firefighter paramedics that bring their real world experience to the classroom.

We offer CPR classes at Station 1, located at 103 Beaver  Street in Yorkville.  Certified instructors provide hands-on training in adult, child, and infant CPR, use of AEDs, and choking rescue techniques.

Smoke alarms are the most effective early warning device there is, by having working smoke alarms in your home, it reduces your chance of dying in a fire in half. Members of the Bristol Kendall Fire Department will install sealed smoke detector(s) in your home at no cost to you. These smoke detectors are good for 10 years. To qualify for this program, you must live in the Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District.
